The line about your husband telling everyone about your Substack really made me smile. Mine does the same (and it sometimes makes me so embarrassed)!!! A good reminder that our family and friends want to support us and cheer us on, just as we want to for them!

This really resonates with me! I have such imposter syndrome about my newsletter and my goals to be a personal shopper/stylist. I totally downplay it! Love your newsletter and your style!

Can totally relate—I too have so much impostor syndrome about my newsletter and shy away from telling people about it. Maria, love that you have a friend/yoga teacher like Ali in your corner… the kind of friend we all need 🤍

I'm always shying away from telling people but trying to get better at it. I hope you also have good friends in your corner. I love your writing and think you've built such a nice community with your newsletter. You should be proud!!

Krissy, that's so kind of you to say! Thank you! Sometimes, it helps to remind myself that even the most successful people have imposter syndrome. A friend gave me good advice that it's impossible to feel 100% confident in whatever we're doing, so it's best to just get used to that feeling, and the more we do, the better we will be at turning down the noise. I'm cheering you on and hope you keep going with your newsletter and personal shopper/stylist goals! I think people are always looking for genuine perspective they can relate to, and you do such a great job of that!
