Le Labo sells samples from their online store as well as in-person!! Not sure if this was the travel size you meant, but they're $7 USD each-- I've gone through 3 of Thé Matcha to tide me over until I succumb to the full size.

I had no idea - this is a great tip! The travel size I was looking at was around 75 euros for 15 ml. Thanks for the tip!!

+ contrary to their liberal use of Grasse in their labeling, Le Labo is an American brand, so you didn't actually miss out on getting anything lol

Maria, this is such a great recap - your trip looks amazing! The orange Longchamp is so good, too! I'll revisit your post next time I head to Paris - a girl's trip there is long overdue. I'm so glad you had quality time with your family!

As a Parisian, I'm used to buying skincare from pharmacies (or Monoprix). If you don't want to buy other products foryour skin (which I understand), you can still try lip balms from Caudalie and Nuxe which are great. And if you like macarons, I recommend Gérard Mulot in the Saint-Germain-des-Pré area. It used to be much better before the ownership changed, as it is often the case, but it's still a place I like going to from time to time and their coffee macarons are delicious - I was there two weeks ago with my Mom after a shopping spree at Le Bon Marché! :)

These are great tips, thank you!! I never thought to try the lip balms. I'm going to save your macaron recommendation for our next trip to Paris!

Loved the perspective of waiting a few months to share. Especially the purchases you made!

Thank you! The extra time does help - sometimes things grow on me, and sometimes I'll realize a drawback after more wears, like the jean transfer on the orange bag.

This happened to shoes I had and I didn’t realize until it was too late. I told myself those are signs of wearing things!

Ok I suggest that EVERYONE should be recapping trips this!! I loved hearing Was it Worth It for allthethings!! I have eyed the gaspard cardigan for ages but struggle with the reviews that it isn’t terribly soft. Perhaps if I could get it in-store and save some of those extra fees you mentioned!

Also, I went to Pink Mama when I was in Paris a few years ago (around the time it blew up) and the atmosphere was super fun!

You’re too sweet, thank you!! It’s true, the sweater isn’t really soft. The first time I tried it on, I was actually pretty shocked by it. But, the thing is, it’s not itchy either - I have such sensitive skin and the sweater doesn’t bother me. The fit is what really got me. I’d definitely wait to get it in-store if you can!
