How do you always look SO COOL Maria?! I loved this - and the black turtleneck is becoming one of my go-tos these days too- it’s so easy and always looks chic!
You're too kind!! Thanks, Sogole - means a lot coming from you! I honestly have no idea how I survived without a black turtleneck last winter. It's been my favourite thing to wear. x
Thanks, Sigrid! It's definitely helped me to find the right pieces that I can easily coordinate with the rest of my wardrobe and life. Thanks so much for reading! x
Firstly I’ve just found you here on Substack and I’m so glad i did! All the looks are fantastic and I love how you’ve detailed the full context of the looks. But I also love how it’s the small things that can make a big difference? Ie that silver necklace and the black polo cap; just very smart accessories that truly make a difference. Thanks for the inspiration!
Sarah, this comment means so much!! Thank you for reading! I agree, I don't have a lot of accessories, but the ones I do have, I use over and over again because they do help finish off a look. x
So many great, realistic outfits here. Now I'm tempted to style my effortless pants, but....I can't find them! lol Also, thoughts on the stirrup leggings from split? I really need to add a pair of non-workout leggings to my wardrobe.
Thanks, Sana!! I love the stirrup leggings! I was in the same boat - I wanted a pair that didn't feel exclusively like workout leggings, and the splits ones definitely fit the bill. They feel like butter on. It was a bit strange the first time I put them on because I wasn't used to the stirrup style and I wasn't sure if I could pull them off. But I figured it out once I started styling them with different tops. I love that they're different from my regular lulu leggings, and I can't wait to wear them more in the spring with flats!
Thanks, Natalia!! I know, it's too bad they don't ship to the US. I've heard some people get lucky by shopping for Arket on resale sites, so maybe that can be an option? x
SO relatable! My most-worn outfits that make up my personal style are never as exciting as I might like but they're practical and make me feel put-together. These looks are stunning on you!
From one outfit repeater from another, I LOVE everything about this. You are my definition of effortless! You make everything look so fab and you have such a great grasp on style. Several times this past month I've been telling myself I wish I had a grey or dark navy crew sweater to throw on and you're convincing me I do in fact need one.
Awww thank you!! You always inspire me with your chic looks, so this means everything!! The grey crewneck sweatshirt has been another staple for me this winter, and definitely influenced by your previous Buck Mason post. I looooved that sweatshirt. xx
You're too kind! I think about that sweater allll the time. Wishing I had purchased before our move. Crossing my fingers Buck Mason makes it Europe soon!
Hey Maria....you look so good in all your outfits in this series. Classics, timeless, and so chic.
Question pls - the Effortless pants has 4 different lengths, did you get the Short version? I want to buy the correct length for my 5'2" height as I don't want to take it for alteration. Thank you 🥰
I’m 5’2”, and got a size 0, which is the smallest size, and it definitely still fits oversized on me. 😬 I admit it took me a while to get used to it because it fit really big and long (I have to hold it up going up and down stairs so I don’t trip!) but now I love the style. It is such a chic coat! I’d consider sizing down if you can! x
I LOVE this. Hallelujah to real women wearing the same clothes & outfit repeating in real life. I want to know which clothes are making the cut 🙌🏼
Thanks Leanne!! This means so much! x
Capsule wardrobes and outfit repeating are so underrated! Loved this roundup Maria xxx
Couldn't agree more!! Thanks so much, Giulia! x

Love that you focus on pieces you were over and over again and how they work for different aspects of your life.
Thanks, Sigrid! It's definitely helped me to find the right pieces that I can easily coordinate with the rest of my wardrobe and life. Thanks so much for reading! x
This was such an amazing post! Just tried to buy the jacket in xs and it’s sold out. Signed up for a restock notification, fingers crossed!!!!
Thanks so much! I've got my fingers crossed for you. It's a great jacket! x

Loved every single look. Wish Arket shipped to the US so I could try out that grey sweatshirt!! Xx

Yes, I would get the short length for you, especially if you’re not wearing heels. x
Idk if you look really good in black or if you just look really good, period but either way— you look GOOD! 🖤
Ah, the nicest compliment - thank you!! 🖤
For YEARS I have read the praises of that Toteme coat but you are convincing me. What size did you get? I’m 5’3” is it going to swallow me?

Ok it’s honestly great to realize we are so similar in height. I’m thrilled!!
